The Sheriff Candidate Forum was a huge success. It gave the public a good snapshot of the personalities and policies of our candidates. Several people told us they came not knowing any of the candidates or having a preference for one. At the end of the forum, they had clearly made their choice for one candidate. Some even turned in yard signs they had picked up before the forum and traded them for the candidate they now favored. Listen for yourself and get a feel for the candidate you want to vote for in the primary on June 11.
Remember, this Primary election is very important since there are no Democrat candidates running. The primary will actually select the new Sheriff. Be sure you listen to the candidates, make sure you are registered to vote and get out and vote on June 11, 2024.
